Help Care For Our Pets While They Wait for a Home
Rockingham Harrisonburg SPCA is extremely appreciative when community members donate in-kind items that help our team keep our pets happy and healthy while they await adoption. We are always grateful for donations that provide good nutrition, clean environments, and enriching experiences for the animals in our care. Here are some examples of what items the RHSPCA can use:

Unusable Items
- Lysol, Pine-sol, or any other -Sol cleaning products (these are toxic to cats)

- Pillow cases, bed sheets, or t-shirts (too thin)
- Carpet remnants, bathroom mats, or patio mats (we cannot sufficiently sanitize these items)
Please note, any food donated that is not Hills Science Diet will be donated to Anicira’s local pet food pantry to help keep pets in their homes and out of the shelter. While we greatly appreciate the thought, we like to keep animals housed in the shelter on the same diet to reduce GI problems and help us better identify animals with potential medical issues.
